“God dwells in our midst, in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar.” –St. Maximilian Kolbe

Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ truly present in the Eucharist (Blessed Sacrament). During a time of Adoration, the Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and people come to worship Jesus through prayer, song, or reverent silence. Eucharistic Adoration is offered on the First Friday of each month from 10 am (immediately following 9:15 am Mass) ending times will vary, depending on availability, in our Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

What is an Eucharistic Adoration Guardian?

During Exposition and Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament, we can never let the Blessed Sacrament be left alone. A Guardian commits to spending one hour with our Lord in quiet prayer and reflection. As a guardian, we ask that you make time for a Holy Hour during which you come to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at your appointed time, sign in, and remain in the Chapel until the next set of guardians comes to relieve you for the next hour.

The goal is to schedule a minimum of two to three guardians for every hour that adoration is offered. This is to ensure that we have someone present with the Blessed Sacrament at all times. In the event a conflict or issue arises during Adoration, the guardians need only communicate with their peer guardians, the ministry lead, or the Liturgy Coordinator.

We are in the process of recreating our Sign Up Genius distribution list for the Adoration Guardian. We ask all current Adoration Guardians, and anyone interested in serving as an Adoration Guardian, to please fill out the form so we can ensure we have the most accurate and up-to-date distribution list.

To serve as a Eucharist Adoration Guardian, please click HERE to complete the form and you will be included in our distribution list. You will then receive a monthly email to sign up for the Holy Hour of your preference. Thank you!

Individuals and families are encouraged to come and spend time before the Lord in the Holy Eucharist.
