Communications Ministries implement a plan to teach, inform, and inspire parishioners about the spiritual truths of stewardship and generosity, the work of our parish, and its plans for the future.
Communication Events/ Promotional Items
Our Communication Events are events that happen in the City of Oviedo in which we participate in to share the Good News and promote our Parish. We typically participate in Taste of Oviedo (March/April) and Great Day in the Country (November). For these Communication Events we create and provide many promotional items which help to share our name with the Oviedo community. We also create other promotional products (t-shirts, grocery bags, pens, notepads, etc.) for the Parish Community all year round.
Who: All.
Time: Twice a year (March/April and November) for Events & all year round for promotional products.
Talent: Knowledge and skill in promotional items and/or love for Evangelization.
Photography/ Videography
Photographers/Videographers who enjoy taking photos and/or video at our Parish Events and Sacramental Celebrations. We provide our Parish Camera if you do not have your own to take photos.
Who: All.
Time: Varies depending on projects.
Talent: Love for photography and/or videography.
Saint Gabriel Stewards: Graphic Design, Marketing, Social Media
A Saint Gabriel Steward is someone who has gifts in the areas of communications, graphic design, marketing, website management, or social media and is interested in giving of their time and talent to assist with our information outreach efforts.
Who: All.
Time: Varies depending on projects.
Talent: Knowledge and skill in graphic design, marketing, website management, or social media, and is interested in spreading the Good News of the Gospel and our Parish Life.
Spanish Translators
Spanish Translators assist in translating various materials such as bulletins, brochures, worship aids, website, etc. from English to Spanish.
Who: All.
Time: Varies depending on projects.
Talent: Must be proficient in both English and Spanish, have an e-mail address, and be skilled in using Microsoft Word.
