The Blessed Virgin Mary is the Mother of the Church, and an example, guide, and inspiration for all who seek to be the servant of God and an obedient agent of the promptings of the Holy Spirit. The month of May is especially dedicated to Our Blessed Lady by the faithful. During this month, Catholics both in church and in the home, offer up to Mary from their hearts an especially fervent and loving homage of prayer and veneration.
As the Mother of God, the Virgin Mary has a unique position among the saints, indeed, among all creatures. She is exalted, yet still one of us. Click hereto learn more about our Mother Mary.
May Crowning and 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima Saturday, May 13th At 4PM
A Rosary will be publicly prayed in the Rosary Garden to acknowledge the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions in Fatima. A beautiful banner will be held displaying a picture of Our Lady. After the rosary, a procession and May crowning prayer service is planned before the 5 PM Mass. The congregation is encouraged to be part of the procession and prayer service. After the May Crowning, everyone will then process back to the Parish Life Center for Mass. The 2017 communicants are asked to be part of the procession wearing their First Communion attire. It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to be part of this beautiful Catholic Tradition.
