In-person Faith Formation classes have begun!

– Tuesday –  6 pm to 7:15 pm
– Wednesday – 4:45 pm to 6pm and 6:30 pm to 7:45pm

Just a reminder as we return to Faith Formation:

  • Drop-off can be by Carline or park and walk in.

  • Dismissal will be from their classroom.

  • Make sure we have your COVID release forms on file.

  • Review safety guidelines with your child weekly.

Mass Offering Card

We are using these to reconnect our faith formation families to worship and engage more deeply in the Mass.  Mass is worship, and worship has always involved sacrifice, in every culture and faith.  We offer the best of ourselves to God in worship at Mass.  Every Faith Formation Student preparing for a sacrament this year is required to complete a Mass Offering Card each week and submit them either at Mass, or electronically if they are watching Mass online or if forget to turn in their card at Mass.  In-person students may also turn their cards in to their catechists at class.

We are very excited to see all the children again, but before you bring your child to class please do the following self-assessment.

If your child or a family member can answer ‘YES’ to any of the following questions, we ask that you do not bring your child to class.
Is your child or a family member experiencing:

  • A constant cough

  • Shortness of breath

  • Body aches that cannot be attributed to a specific activity such as physical exercise

  • Sore throat

  • Loss of taste or smell

  • Fever over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Exposed to someone who has a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, or is awaiting test results

Absences due to illness or suspected exposure to COVID-19 do not count against the 3 absences allowed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please stay safe and God bless!

COVID-19 Considerations

Due to the pandemic, the following protocols will be in place:
• Masks/face coverings are required by all students, catechists, and parents.
• Face Shields are provided for Catechists.
• Disposable masks are available for anyone who forgets theirs.
• Hand sanitizer mounted at entrance/exit to all classrooms, the Youth Room, and the PLC (students will be asked to sanitize hands upon arrival and departure).
• Tables and chairs are arranged all facing the same direction, per CDC guidelines. No one is to move or rearrange them.
• Social distancing rules apply at all times.
• Classrooms and PLC are sanitized nightly and in between ses-sions.

Family-Based Feed Your Faith
Attention Family-Based Faith Formation Families!
Look out for information on our next Feed Your Faith gathering in March.

Family-Based Faith Formation

This format of Faith Formation is parent-led and is accomplished primarily at home. This format allows for flexibility, however, it still requires discipline to set aside time and do the lessons in a timely manner.
Each family enrolled receives workbooks for each child and in-structions for parents to present the lesson. After each chapter lesson has been completed, the child takes an assessment. These assessments demonstrate progress and understanding of the mate-rial.
In addition to following the lesson plans, families are expected to participate in “Feed Your Faith”.  Our first Feed Your Faith will be on October 8th.  Save the Date!
We are monitoring the situation with the pandemic to determine the best way to gather for our Feed Your Faith event, whether in person or virtually.  Please visit our website for more details as the date get closer.
