Even with the church attendance numbers are not as they should be, due to the pandemic, we were able to collect $9,525 for the Disaster Relief Fund this past weekend.
The funds collected in this special collection will become part of the Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund and will be used to support the efforts of Catholic Charities USA and/or Catholic Relief Services, the official relief agencies of the U.S. Catholic Church, as they and their local agencies respond to immediate emergency needs for such necessities as water, food, shelter, and medical care, and aid in long-term rebuilding and recovery efforts.
Thank you so much for your generosity. God Bless you!

Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be yours this day.  In the Diocese of Orlando, we have learned that our parishioners’ well-being is sustained and we have assessed minimal damage to our properties so far this storm season.

We offer our prayers to all the families affected by disasters these past few weeks and months.
Those impacted by Hurricanes and Earthquakes, the wildfires in California, and the Tennessee Flooding, as well as, the suffering in Afghanistan.

Their impacts will be long-lasting.

In solidarity with our brothers and sisters, we join dioceses throughout the country to participate in Disaster Relief 2021.

This voluntary special collection for the humanitarian, immediate and long-term recovery efforts will take place on September 18 & 19.

The funds collected in this special appeal will become part of the Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund and will be used to support the efforts of Catholic Charities USA and/or Catholic Relief Services, the official relief agencies of the U.S. Catholic Church, as they and their local agencies respond to immediate emergency needs for such necessities as water, food, shelter, and medical care, and aid in long-term rebuilding and recovery efforts; and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for pastoral and reconstruction needs of the Church.

We are called to assist our brothers and sisters in need and those who may be faced with the loss of their worldly possessions or economic livelihood.  The isolation and fear caused by these storms and natural disasters can be overwhelming. We can bring them comfort as the body of Christ.”  – Bishop John Noonan
